The Process

When you are ready to get inked:

1. A consultation will take place.  Send any references you may have along with a paragraph about modifications to the reference you may want,  size, placement and any other specifications.  The more information you provide, the quicker the process will be.

2.  $100.00 nonrefundable deposit is required to secure an appointment.  Depending on the complexity of the design, expect a drawing within 7-14 days.  A tentative appointment will be scheduled for 2 weeks.  Of course if you have a specific day in mind, I will do my best to accommodate.

3.  Once a drawing is completed, it will be sent to you for approval or changes.  If changes need to be made, be specific!

How to Prepare &
Aftercare

How to Prepare:

1. Get proper rest the night before

2. Shower

3. Eat a meal one to two hours prior

4. Notify me as soon as possible if you are running late but be on time!

5. Be comfortable. Bring water & a snack and music if you like

Aftercare:

1. Remove the bandage the night of or morning after

2. Clean tattoo thoroughly with a mild soap and allow to air dry

3. Begin applying lotion as needed on day 2

4. DO NOT SCRATCH OR PICK SCABS as this will result in the loss of ink.  Itchy tattoos indicate dryness and applying a thin layer of lotion will ease discomfort.

5. A touch up, if needed, can be done after one month

Q & A

How old do you have to be to get tattooed?

18 years +

What should I wear?

Be comfortable.  Loose clothing that easily exposes the area to be tattooed

Will it hurt?

Pain tolerance is a variable, everyone is different but yes, tattoos hurt.  Expect some pain.

How long will it take?

It will take as long as it needs to ensure you are happy with my work.  Size, location, detail and colour or not will determine time.   Once a consultation has taken place, a rough estimate of the time needed can be given.

Can I take breaks?

Yes, within reason.  Stopping for a 10 minute break won't have a big impact but the more breaks you take, the longer the session will be and the harder it will be for you to sit to completion.

What if I can't finish my session?

Larger tattoos often require multiple sessions and sometimes there are reasons to not complete a tattoo in once session.  In these cases, "blocking" will be completed which is the shading/mapping of the tattoo.

What is the amount of time needed between sessions?

One month which allows ample time for healing

Do you do cover-ups?

Yes!  It is best to have a few ideas to work with if you are wanting a cover-up as not all designs may be suitable to cover the old tattoo

Will you do other tattoo artist designs?

NO!

What won't you tattoo?

No hatred, sexual organs and buttholes!
